This journey has included healing old wounds and learning about right relationship with the power and privileges I’ve been given, and understanding how co-liberation feeds reconnection with our world.

MY PERSPECTIVE

I am passionate and compassionate about boundaries and self-care. I am a tracker of the natural world, wild foods, animal tracks, bird language and signs. I use that same awareness to track our bodies and to follow signs and clues for unwinding trauma and stress held in the body. Through our collaboration we open a place for you to listen deeply and bring forward your full presence to life.

I am a cis-gendered, white-bodied male. I have spent a lot of time examining my place in systems of power and dominance. I offer sessions that are rooted in many years of personal and collective exploration led by gifted spiritual teachers and mentors.

I have faith in our collective capacity to find ways to create a world where each person’s gifts are celebrated and part of creating co-liberation for all life. The world is calling us to grow and be together in unique and beautiful new ways. Each of our gifts are needed in these times.

MY EXPERIENCE

I grew up in a tightly woven family that cared deeply for our friends and community. I bring this same spirit of care to the groups and individuals that I work with.

I'm a somatic practitioner, SEP that has been working for over 25 years in somatic and spiritual communities  creating healing spaces for individual and collective healing and planetary/structural change.

I currently offer private sessions and group work in SE, spiritual coaching and SE integrative touch work.

I assist SE trainings and offer classes of my own and through organizations including Kinhood, and Landpaths.

I studied Somatics at SEI, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and with many amazing teachers including Peter Levine(SE), Gabor Mate (drgabormate.com), Efu Nyaki (SE Trans-generational Trauma), Ariel Giarretto (SE), Joshua Sylvae (SE), Nick Walker (CIIS), Twig Wheeler (SE), Catherine Lemon (SE), Monique LeSarre (CIIS)

I enjoy working with people across a diverse array of identities and backgrounds.

I work best with adults that are working with spiritual development, healing ancestral wounds, eros and gender, grief work, exploring power and structural forms of oppression and healing of various forms of traumas.

I also enjoy working with kids creating connective sessions in nature using theraplay, somatic movement, tracking of the natural world and relationality to work through developmental and structural forms of stress and trauma in their nervous systems.

I’ve lived in many countries around the world including Spain, France, Holland, Morocco, Peru, Cuba and Israel. In these countries I cultivated an awareness of different cultural perspectives and ways of experiencing the world. I speak Spanish, Arabic, English, and French and I deeply value the multiple approaches to mental health from different cultural, cognitive and societal perspectives.

I’ve attended Bolad's Kitchen, an International school based in New Mexico with Martin Prechtel (Keres/Mayan Spiritual Leader) since 2009, a school focused on revitalization of living culture, ancestral crafts, stories, and ritual. Other long-term teachers and mentors include Malidoma Some (Dagara tribe 15 years), Sonbonfu Some (Grief Ritual, Dagara tribe 12 years), Keith and Shane Pashe (Dakota Tipi, 12 years).  I’ve cultivated a long-time relationship with these teachers and traditions and have been given permission from my teachers to share certain practices alongside my work.
